About
Built to solve one problem well.
Businesses working with clients across countries kept running into the same friction: an invoice that should have been simple to pay became harder simply because the client was somewhere else. SimplePayment exists to fix that — helping businesses send professional invoices and get paid more easily, especially across a border.
Why it exists
The problem wasn't invoicing. It was getting paid across a border.
For businesses whose clients aren't all in one country, invoicing tools tend to fall into one of two traps: either they're built around a single home currency and language, and international payment is an afterthought — the wrong bank fields, no localized client experience, no signal on whether an invoice was even seen — or they try to be everything at once, bundling accounting, expenses, and time tracking that a business never asked for. SimplePayment was created to do neither. It solves one problem well: getting a professional invoice in front of a client, wherever they are, and making it as easy as possible for them to pay it.
Design philosophy
A few deliberate boundaries, not a growing feature list.
Reduce the friction of getting paid
One link, no client login, card or offline payment on the same invoice — the fewer steps between sending and getting paid, the better.
Earn trust before asking for money
A branded, professional payment page and honest handling of payment data matter as much as the invoice itself.
International by default
Multi-currency, localized bank-transfer fields, and a client-facing experience in five languages — not an add-on bolted onto a domestic-first tool.
One thing, not everything
No accounting, no expense tracking, no time tracking, no recurring billing engine for your own customers. Getting invoiced and paid, done well, is the whole job.
Who it's for
Built for businesses that just want to invoice and get paid.
Not every business needs an accounting suite, a CRM, or a project-management tool bolted onto how they invoice. SimplePayment is for independents and small teams who send invoices to clients — sometimes across borders — and want that process to feel as professional and straightforward as the work itself.
Looking ahead
We'd rather stay narrow than grow into everything.
Where SimplePayment grows, it will be in service of getting invoiced and paid across borders more easily — better localization, more payment options, clearer visibility — not by adding modules unrelated to that job. The boundaries above aren't temporary limitations we intend to remove; they're the point.
For independents and small teams who invoice the world.
See if it fits the way you invoice.
