Received an invoice?

Yes, this is real.

If you've been sent a SimplePayment link, someone you're working with used SimplePayment to request payment. No account or app is required on your end — card payments are processed by Stripe, and we never ask for your bank password or card number outside the secure Stripe checkout.

What is SimplePayment?

Invoicing software a business uses to bill you — not a bank.

SimplePayment doesn't hold or manage your money. It's the tool the business you're working with used to create this invoice and give you a way to pay it. Nothing about paying it requires you to sign up for anything.

How do I pay?

Whatever way you were offered, it's on the same page.

Card

Pay by card on a secure, Stripe-hosted checkout page. Your status updates to paid immediately, and you get an emailed receipt.

Bank transfer

The payment page shows the exact bank details for a transfer in your country. The business marks the invoice paid once the transfer arrives.

Cash or check

If you’re paying in person or by check, the business records that payment manually on their end once it’s received.

Common questions

Everything you're likely wondering.

What is SimplePayment?

SimplePayment is invoicing software. A business you’re working with uses it to send you invoices and collect payment — it isn’t a bank, and it doesn’t hold or manage your money.

Is this legitimate?

If you’ve received a SimplePayment link, someone you’re working with sent it to request payment for something you already agreed to. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and SimplePayment never asks for your bank password or card number outside the secure Stripe checkout.

How do I pay?

Open the link you were sent — no account or app is required. Choose to pay by card, or follow the bank-transfer, cash, or check instructions shown on the page.

Which payment methods are available?

Card (via Stripe), bank transfer, cash, or check — whichever the business has enabled for that invoice.

Can I pay by bank transfer?

If the business has enabled it, yes. The payment page shows the exact bank details for a transfer from your country. The business confirms the payment once it arrives.

Can I download the invoice?

Yes. A PDF download is available directly on the payment page, and the receipt emailed to you after a card payment includes a download link as well.

What happens after payment?

For card payments, your status updates to paid right away and you’ll receive a receipt by email. For bank transfer, cash, or check, the business updates the status once they’ve confirmed the payment on their end — that can take a little longer.

Need help?

Contact the business that sent you the invoice — not SimplePayment.

Questions about the invoice itself — the amount, what it's for, or a payment you've already made — are best answered by the business you're working with directly. If something about the link or page looks wrong, you can also read more about how payments are protected, or reach SimplePayment directly.
