What you get right after signing up depends on the plan you choose. No trial ever requires a credit card.
How it works, by plan choice
- Free — you’re on the Free plan immediately. There’s no trial to run out — you’re simply using the Free plan’s features from day one.
- Solo — you start a 14-day trial with Solo-plan features.
- Team — you start a 14-day trial with Team-plan features.
- Didn’t choose a plan at signup — you start a 14-day Solo-plan trial by default.
What happens when a trial ends
If a Solo or Team trial ends without an active paid subscription, the account moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted — your clients, invoices, and history stay exactly as they are — but new activity is limited to Free-plan limits until you subscribe.
Important behavior and limitations
- The Free plan itself never expires and never requires a trial — it’s a permanent, no-cost tier.
- You can upgrade to a paid plan at any point, during or after a trial.
- Trial length and plan features are the same regardless of how you signed up (email or Google).
