When a client pays by card, their card details go straight to Stripe’s own secure checkout, not through SimplePayment’s servers.
Important behavior and limitations
- SimplePayment itself doesn’t hold PCI DSS certification — it doesn’t need to, because it never touches raw card data. Stripe’s infrastructure is PCI-compliant and handles that directly.
